TXT Earns Their 1st Double Platinum RIAJ Certification In Japan + Stray Kids And SEVENTEEN Go Platinum

The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) has announced its latest batch of official certifications!

On September 9, the RIAJ announced that TXT’s new Japanese single album “GOOD BOY GONE BAD” had received an official double platinum certification for over 500,000 units shipped since its release barely a week prior. It is now the group’s first album to earn the distinction in Japan.

Meanwhile, both Stray Kids’ latest Japanese mini album “CIRCUS” and SEVENTEEN’s recent Korean repackaged album “SECTOR 17” earned official platinum certifications for over 250,000 units shipped each.

According to the RIAJ’s certification thresholds, albums are certified platinum at 250,000 units shipped and double platinum at 500,000.
