Watch: TWICE's Dahyun, NMIXX, TNX, ATEEZ, And More Tease The "2022 Idol Star Athletics Championships" And Ask Fans To Tune In

MBC has shared a cute self-cam preview of the “2022 Idol Star Athletics Championships” (ISAC) Chuseok broadcast!

The preview is divided into self-cam clips of MC TWICE’s Dahyun, as well as groups NMIXX, Xdinary Heroes, TNX, YOUNITE, AB6IX, WEi, ATEEZ, STAYC, LIGHTSUM, ONEUS, P1Harmony, and EPEX.

Returning to her host position after a few years, Dahyun thanks fans for showing their support and gives a warm Chuseok greeting. JYP Entertainment’s rookie groups NMIXX and Xdinary Heroes share their excitement to compete at the 2022 ISAC and ask fans to tune in to the broadcasts.

TNX thanks fans for coming out to the filming and hint that they may compete better than anticipated. On that same note, YOUNITE teases their accomplishments and encourages fans to check out the results in the broadcast. AB6IX’s Park Woo Jin reveals that it’s the first time they’ve made a full group appearance and his first time competing, adding that it’s slightly awkward. The remaining members share their determination to work hard and ask everyone to catch the live broadcast.

WEi excitedly previews the competitions they’re participating in, including relay, dance sports, futsal, and track. ATEEZ’s Hongjoong nervously tells San not to give any spoilers before telling viewers that they’re filming diligently alongside their fans and many artists.

STAYC adorably break out into song as Sumin announces that it’s Sieun’s birthday on the day of the 2022 ISAC filming. Sieun comments, “I’m so happy to be able to spend my birthday with so many people. It feels like I’ve come to a festival.” It turns out to be LIGHTSUM’s Huiyeon’s birthday too, and as it’s the group’s first ISAC appearance, they promise to return and compete in many more events.

It’s also ONEUS’s first appearance and they share that they’re both nervous and excited. After asking viewers to tune in, ONEUS’s Keonhee makes sure to promote their upcoming September comeback. P1Harmony shares that they did their best in competition and that they have no regrets. EPEX explains that as it’s their first appearance, fans have to tune in to see their unique charms. They then ask for lots of love for both EPEX and ISAC.

This year’s 2022 ISAC Chuseok special airs in three parts and will be available on Viki. The first part aired on September 9 at 5:30 p.m. KST. The eSports competition will be broadcast on September 11 at 2:50 p.m. KST while part two of the main competition will air on September 12 at 5:20 p.m. KST.
