BLACKPINK’s “Pink Venom” is still going strong in the United Kingdom!
On September 9 local time, the United Kingdom’s Official Charts (typically regarded as the U.K. equivalent to Billboard’s U.S. charts) announced that BLACKPINK’s latest hit “Pink Venom” had successfully remained in the top 40 of the Official Singles Chart for a third consecutive week. After initially debuting at No. 22 last month, “Pink Venom” came in at No. 40 on this week’s chart.
With this new achievement, “Pink Venom” has become the first song by any female K-pop artist in history to spend three weeks in the top 40 of the Official Singles Chart.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is currently gearing up for the release of their second full-length album “BORN PINK,” featuring the brand-new title track “Shut Down,” on September 16.
Congratulations to BLACKPINK on their historic achievement!
