Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung And Yoon Bak Confirmed To Star In New Rom-Com
On September 15, MBC’s upcoming drama “Please Send a Fan Letter” (literal title) confirmed Sooyoung and Yoon Bak as the leads and kicked off production. The drama is a romantic comedy about an actress who faces the biggest crisis in her life in the entertainment industry and a man who has to protect his daughter’s pure heart by writing fake replies to her fan letters. Director Jung Sang Hee, who co-directed “From Now On, Showtime!” is expected to impress viewers with a heartwarming touch on the upcoming drama.
Sooyoung will take on the role of Han Kang Hee, a top star who is facing the biggest crisis in her life in the entertainment industry because of a fan letter. Anticipation is high for Sooyoung’s portrayal of Han Kang Hee as she has shown profound acting skills, which multiply the charms of her characters in all her projects.
Yoon Bak plays Bang Jung Suk, an unmarried father raising his daughter, who is suffering from leukemia, on his own. Bang Jung Suk is a warm and positive character who wants to make his daughter’s wishes come true since she is going through painful chemotherapy. Yoon Bak, who has shown sincere acting skills through perfect synchronization with his character in each of his projects, is expected to transform into a loving father through the role of Bang Jung Suk.
