Lee Jun Young And Hyeri Have A Troublesome First Meeting in "May I Help You?"

MBC’s upcoming drama “May I Help You?” gave a glimpse of the main leads’ first meeting!

“May I Help You?” is a drama following the story of funeral director Baek Dong Joo (Hyeri), who works tirelessly to grant the wishes of the dead, and Butler Kim (Lee Jun Young), who runs errands that begin at a cost of 100 won (approximately 10 cents) per job. Together, these two run the errand-running business of Ildangbaek, a word alluding to the meaning of one person doing the work of 100 while also being a play on the concept of doing errands for just 100 won.

From the stills, it turns out that team Ildangbaek’s first meeting isn’t as smooth as viewers thought it would be! Butler Kim, who runs to wherever his clients want him to, meets Baek Dong Joo when he is on an errand per his customer’s request. Looking at their serious expressions as they sit face-to-face at a restaurant, curiosity is raised as to what request led to their meeting. In another picture, both Baek Dong Joo and Butler Kim are seen still in the same outfits, but now Baek Dong Joo is giving 50,000 won (approximately $35) to Butler Kim as the latter looks curiously surprised.

Be it coincidence or fate, the two meet again at a crosswalk. Butler Kim is stopping a car as he turns his head in worry to check on Baek Dong Joo. He looks very apologetic as he helps Baek Dong Joo pick up a lunch box that spilled on the ground. Baek Dong Joo’s expression of displeasure only makes viewers more curious to see what kind of fate will bring the two to eventually work together.

On working together with Lee Jun Young, Hyeri remarked, “It was easy to build good chemistry with Lee Jun Young as he is an actor who can capture well the essence of how to balance seriousness and comedy. He is a very reliable actor.” Lee Jun Young returned the compliment by saying that Hyeri is a passionate actress who lights up the set with her bright and positive energy, sweetly adding, “I’m lucky to be able to work with her.”
