(G)I-DLE Breaks Own Record With Over 700,000 Stock Pre-Orders For

(G)I-DLE has already set a new personal record with their upcoming mini album—even before its release!

On October 11, Cube Entertainment officially announced that (G)I-DLE’s fifth mini album “I love” had already surpassed 700,000 stock pre-orders, marking the group’s highest number of stock pre-orders to date.

The number of stock pre-orders is the amount of album stock that is produced prior to an album’s release. The figure is the estimated demand calculated using various factors, including how many albums were pre-ordered by fans.

Cube Entertainment commented, “The news of (G)I-DLE releasing a new album has been met with a flood of passionate responses from fans both within Korea and abroad.”

The agency also mentioned the massive success of (G)I-DLE’s previous title track “TOMBOY,” which became their first song ever to achieve a perfect all-kill on the Korean charts earlier this year.

“Following ‘TOMBOY,’ [(G)I-DLE] is gearing up to release another [new song] that will become all the rage,” said Cube Entertainment, “and we also see potential for even higher sales than now.”

(G)I-DLE will make their return with “I love” and its title track “Nxde” on October 17 at 6 p.m. KST. Check out their latest teasers for the comeback here!
