Sooyoung, Yoon Bak, And Shin Yeon Woo Are Like A Playful Family In Upcoming Rom-Com Poster
MBC’s new rom-com “Please Send a Fan Letter” (literal title) has revealed its first teaser poster!
“Please Send a Fan Letter” is a romantic comedy about an actress who faces the biggest crisis in her life in the entertainment industry and a man who has to protect his daughter’s pure heart by writing fake replies to her fan letters.
The poster features Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung, Yoon Bak, and child actress Shin Yeon Woo, stimulating viewers’ curiosity about their relationship. Sooyoung stars as top actress Han Kang Hee, Shin Yeon Woo as Han Kang Hee’s passionate fan Yoo Na, and Yoon Bak as Yoo Na’s father Bang Jung Suk, who cares a lot about his only daughter.
In the poster, Han Kang Hee is on the run at the forefront with her long hair fluttering behind her. Behind Han Kang Hee is Yoo Na, who is chasing after her with a fan letter held in her hands and a bright smile on her face. The appearance of Bang Jung Suk chasing after his daughter Yoo Na is also eye-catching. The three characters allow viewers to see their interesting relationship at a glance, making viewers look forward to the drama. In addition, the text that reads, “Will you accept my pure love for you as a fan?” mirrors Yoo Na’s heartfelt love for Han Kang Hee, adding to the anticipation for the story of the three who will be entangled in an unexpected incident.
The production team remarked, “As this is the very first teaser poster to be released, we wanted to show the charm of the drama as it is. We contemplated about how to convey not only the romance but also soothing warmth [coming from] the heart-fluttering emotions between Han Kang Hee and Bang Jung Suk, the cuteness of a fan who loves her star, and a father’s love for his daughter to the viewers. Please show lots of interest and anticipation until the premiere.”
