Update: AOA’s Seolhyun Leaves FNC + In Talks To Sign With Jun Ji Hyun’s Agency

On October 20, it was reported that Seolhyun recently had a meeting with IEUM HASHTAG about signing an exclusive contract with the agency. A representative of IEUM HASHTAG, which manages star actresses including Jun Ji Hyun, Seo Ji Hye, and Kim So Hyun, shared, “It is true that we had a meeting with Seolhyun and discussed the matter of an exclusive contract. We hope to deliver good news in the future.”
AOA’s Seolhyun has parted ways with her longtime agency FNC Entertainment.
On October 20, FNC Entertainment released the following statement:

After long conversation and discussion with Seolhyun, FNC Entertainment has agreed to end our management work [with Seolhyun].
Since her debut in 2012, Seolhyun has impressed in many different fields as an artist who represents FNC Entertainment.
We convey our gratitude to Seolhyun for trusting us and being with us for a long time, and we express our gratitude to all the fans who always send love and support without holding back. The agency will continue to sincerely support Seolhyun’s activities going forward, and we ask for your unchanging love and support for Seolhyun as she prepares to make a new start.
After debuting as a member of AOA in 2012, Seolhyun went on to release numerous hits with the group including “Miniskirt,” “Short Hair,” “Like a Cat,” “Heart Attack,” and more. Seolhyun also starred in numerous projects as an actress including “Seo Young, My Daughter,” “Ugly Alert,” “Orange Marmalade,” “Awaken,” “The Killer’s Shopping List,” and more.
