Girl's Day's Hyeri In Talks To Star In New Film About Cheerleading

Girl’s Day’s Hyeri is gearing up to return to the big screen!

On October 21, it was reported that Hyeri will star in a new youth film “Victory” (literal title). In response to the report, a representative of Hyeri’s agency Creative Group ING remarked, “Hyeri received an offer to star in ‘Victory’ and is positively reviewing it.”

Directed by Park Beom Soo, “Victory” is a youth film which depicts the story of Geoje Commercial High School’s cheerleading team, the Millennium Girls, where eight team members with unique personalities are gathered. Pil Seon has lived with passion for dancing her entire life, but when Se Hyun, a new student from Seoul, transfers to Pil Seon’s school, Pil Seon’s eyes open to the world of cheerleading.

Previously, Hyeri starred in the films “Monstrum,” which was released in 2018, and “My Punch-Drunk Boxer” in 2019. If Hyeri takes on the role, “Victory” will be her third film. Anticipation is high for the synergy that Hyeri’s bright and positive energy and her experiences playing the lead roles in various projects will create.

Meanwhile, Hyeri is currently starring in the MBC drama “May I Help You?” which premiered on October 19.
