"The Golden Spoon" Nearly Doubles Its Ratings As "One Dollar Lawyer" Takes The Night Off

MBC’s “The Golden Spoon” soared to its highest ratings yet last night!

On October 21, the fantasy drama starring BTOB‘s Yook Sungjae and DIA’s Jung Chaeyeon hit a new all-time high in viewership as it nearly doubled its ratings from its previous episode. According to Nielsen Korea, the latest episode of “The Golden Spoon” scored an average nationwide rating of 7.8 percent, marking a dramatic 3.2 percent jump from last Saturday’s 4.6 percent—and setting a new personal record for the show.

The steep climb in the drama’s ratings may be partially attributed to the fact that SBS’s “One Dollar Lawyer,” which shares a time slot with “The Golden Spoon,” did not air a new episode last night.

Meanwhile, tvN’s “Blind” earned an average nationwide rating of 2.5 percent for the night.
