BLACKPINK’s “Pink Venom” continues to make history on U.S. radio!

Last month, “Pink Venom” became the first Korean-language song by a girl group ever to enter Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart, which measures weekly plays on mainstream Top 40 radio stations across the United States.

For the week ending on October 29, the hit pre-release single spent its eighth consecutive week on the chart at No. 34, tying the eight-week run achieved by BLACKPINK’s Selena Gomez collab “Ice Cream” back in 2020.

“Pink Venom” also climbed back up to No. 5 in its eighth week on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart, while BLACKPINK’s latest title track “Shut Down” rose to No. 11 in its fifth week.

On this week’s Global Excl. U.S. chart, “Shut Down” held relatively steady at No. 12, followed by “Pink Venom” at No. 19 and fan-favorite B-side “Typa Girl” at No. 178. Meanwhile, “Shut Down” and “Pink Venom” ranked No. 18 and No. 27 respectively on the Global 200.

Over on the Billboard 200—Billboard’s main U.S. albums chart—BLACKPINK’s new studio album “BORN PINK” became the group’s second album ever to chart for five weeks, staying strong at No. 68. (The group’s first album to spend five weeks on the Billboard 200 was their 2020 studio album “THE ALBUM,” which charted for an impressive 26 weeks in a row.)

Additionally, “BORN PINK” swept the No. 15 spot on the Top Album Sales chart and the Top Current Album Sales chart in its fifth week on both charts.

Finally, BLACKPINK ranked No. 61 on this week’s Artist 100, marking their 31st non-consecutive week on the chart.

Congratulations to BLACKPINK on their ongoing success on the Billboard charts!
