Im Siwan And Seolhyun Find Home In A Beautiful Seaside Village In

New stills for the heartwarming drama “Summer Strike” have been unveiled prior to its November premiere!

“Summer Strike” tells the story of people who have left everything they know to go on a journey to find themselves, hoping to finally solve the never-ending questions in their lives and simply rest. The drama stars Seolhyun as Lee Yeo Reum, a woman who, burned out from her previous job, voluntarily takes the life of unemployment and goes to live in the small seaside village of Angok in hopes of finding a fresh start. She is joined by Im Siwan who plays Ahn Dae Bum, a quiet and timid librarian in Angok who carries his own stories and secrets.

The newest stills are shots of the “Summer Strike” characters surrounded by the most beautiful sceneries. Lush green forests, the sparkling blue sea, and blooming cherry blossoms add the most vivid of colors to the characters’ daily lives and journeys. Just looking at these photos invokes a deep sense of peace and tranquility, truly painting the perfect picture of a place where people can come to heal.

Looking closely at the photos, viewers can see small details that really tie the entire story together. From the dilapidated and run-down billiards room that Lee Yeo Reum currently rents to the old and ancient tree that stands tall and proud near Ahn Dae Bum’s library, it is obvious that the scenery of Angok plays just as important of a role as its unique residents.

Finally, Lee Yeo Reum and Ahn Dae Bum can be seen going about their individual lives in the small seaside village, but viewers can’t help but to become curious as to how exactly their lives will intersect as they work toward the same goal of finding themselves.

“Summer Strike” will premiere this November and will be available on Viki. You can watch a teaser for the drama here!
