GHOST9 wowed with a powerful cover on KBS’s “Immortal Songs”!
On October 29, the popular singing competition program aired Part 2 of its “Legendary K-Pop” special.
In what marked their first-ever appearance on the show, GHOST9 chose to cover 2PM’s iconic 2009 hit “Heartbeat.”
When asked what 2PM meant to them, Lee Jin Woo replied, “2PM gained explosive popularity abroad as ‘beast-dols,’ and we’re hoping to get one step closer to following in their footsteps [through this performance].”
Meanwhile, Woojin expressed their determination to do a good job by saying, “‘Immortal Songs’ isn’t an easy show to appear on. So we said, ‘Let’s think of this as our first and last time [on the show] and win just once.'” He then made everyone crack up by adding, “At least that’s what we said.”
