Get ready for sparks to fly between fake and real grandsons on the next episode of KBS 2TV’s “Curtain Call”!
“Curtain Call” is a new drama about an elderly hotelier from North Korea who doesn’t have much time left to live and a theatre actor who acts as her grandson in order to fulfill her final wish. Kang Ha Neul stars as Yoo Jae Heon, the unknown theatre actor who undertakes a life-changing endeavor, while Ha Ji Won stars as heiress Park Se Yeon, who manages the Nakwon Hotel owned by her grandmother Ja Geum Soon (played by Go Doo Shim).
Spoilers
Previously on “Curtain Call,” Yoo Jae Heon succeeded in joining Ja Geum Soon’s family after pretending to be her long-lost grandson from the North. However, Ja Geum Soon’s South Korean grandsons Park Se Joon (Ji Seung Hyun) and Park Se Gyu (Choi Dae Hoon) still remain extremely suspicious of this sudden addition to their family.
In the drama’s upcoming fourth episode, Park Se Gyu catches Yoo Jae Heon off guard by asking him to undergo a DNA test to prove that he’s really Ja Geum Soon’s grandson.
Newly released stills from the episode show the typically relaxed, devil-may-care Park Se Gyu looking uncharacteristically sharp and confrontational as he challenges Yoo Jae Heon to prove himself. Terrified but unwilling to lose to Park Se Gyu, Yoo Jae Heon glares warily back at the other man without letting down his guard.
Later, after the two of them get into a bitter fight, an unseen woman arrives on the scene to break things up by grabbing them both by the hair.
To find out what transpires between the two men—and whether this will be the end of Yoo Jae Heon’s act—tune in to the fourth episode of “Curtain Call” on November 8 at 9:50 p.m. KST!
In the meantime, catch up on the first three episodes of the drama with subtitles below:
