A new behind-the-scenes video for episode 10 of “Cheer Up” is here to brighten your day!

“Cheer Up” is a campus mystery rom-com about a college cheer squad whose glory days are long gone and is now on the verge of falling apart. Han Ji Hyun stars as Do Hae Yi, a rookie member of Yonhee University’s cheer squad Theia, who has a cheerful personality despite facing difficult circumstances at home. Bae In Hyuk stars as Theia’s oft-misunderstood captain Park Jung Woo, who is a firm stickler for the rules but is also a romantic at heart.

Episode 10 was filled with all types of fun, chaos, and of course, drama. But the behind-the-scenes video gives us a bit of a respite from the show’s plot and just lets us enjoy the cast’s amazing chemistry and silly antics!

The making-of video sees our beloved characters getting their hands dirty as they experience life outside of the hustle and bustle of the big city, doing tasks that go way outside of their normal routines such as making kimchi from scratch and peeling a boatload of garlic by hand. It is quite endearing to see Han Ji Hyun, Bae In Hyuk, and Kim Hyun Jin having so much fun, goofing off and joking around as they actually put in lots of effort to add to the realism of the scene. Not to mention, their rather extravagant and colorful get-ups have all of us cracking a smile.

The cast also get to play around on the beach, setting off fireworks and playing with sparklers after the sun sets. A particularly funny scene involves Han Ji Hyun having to pretend she is more than a bit tipsy. She can’t stop laughing as she stumbles along the seaside and even goes so far as to pick up some seaweed that has washed ashore. Her laughter doesn’t stop even when the cameras do, and viewers are sure to get a kick out of her infectious smile and silly personality.
