Watch: Lee Jae Wook Buys Hwang Minhyun And Yoo In Soo Coffee After Losing A Bet On The Playful Set Of "Alchemy Of Souls Part 2"

The cast is full of laughter and jokes behind the scenes of “Alchemy of Souls Part 2”!

Penned by the famous screenwriting duo known as the Hong Sisters, “Alchemy of Souls” is a fantasy romance drama set in the fictional nation of Daeho, a country that does not exist in history or on maps. The drama tells the story of characters whose fates become twisted due to magic that swaps people’s souls. After Part 1 of the drama stole viewers’ hearts this summer, “Alchemy of Souls” has returned with Part 2, which is set three years after Part 1.

The behind-the-scenes video kicks off with Lee Jae Wook joking around and pretending the set is his runway as he hilariously exaggerates his walk to the point that something falls out of a lamp prop that he’s holding, bringing the staff on the set to laugh at his silly act. When Lee Jae Wook starts his first scene with Go Yoon Jung, the two are also full of smiles, making viewers excited to see what kind of chemistry they will continue to show in the new season.

Lee Jae Wook and Go Yoon Jung are not the only ones having fun on the set though. When Hwang Minhyun first comes in and is about to shoot a scene where he will be eating with Lee Jae Wook, Yoo In Soo, and Yoo Joon Sang, he says to the team, “I have actually never eaten grilled deodeok (a type of mountain ginseng) before.” Laughing, the cast asks him back, “Then what on earth have you been eating?” When Hwang Minhyun finally tries the food, he slightly cringes and mouths to the camera, “It’s so spicy. I’m terrible with spicy food.”

Nearing the end when everyone is on a break, Lee Jae Wook tells viewers that earlier after eating, he made a bet with Hwang Minhyun and Yoo In Soo that resulted in him losing and buying them coffee. Proud of their victories, Hwang Minhyun and Yoo In Soo brag about their coffee and say, “Coffee that Lee Jae Wook buys is the tastiest.” In response, Lee Jae Wook comically jokes back, “Coffee I buy for you is my biggest waste of money,” making everyone burst out laughing.
