"Decision To Leave" Makes 2023 Oscars Shortlist For International Feature Film
“Decision To Leave” has made the shortlist for International Feature Film at the 95th Academy Awards!
On December 21 local time, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) unveiled their 2023 Oscar shortlists for 10 different categories, including Documentary Feature, International Feature, Documentary Short Subject, Makeup and Hairstyling, Original Score, Original Song, Animated Short, Live-Action Short, Sound, and Visual Effects.
Among all the international films that were submitted by 92 different countries, the shortlist features 15 films, including Park Chan Wook’s “Decision to Leave” which stars Tang Wei and Park Hae Il. “Decision to Leave” has made the shortlist alongside Belgium’s “Close,” Cambodia’s “Return to Seoul,” Germany’s “All Quiet on the Western Front,” Sweden’s “Cairo Conspiracy,” and more.
From each shortlist, five final nominees will officially be announced on January 24, alongside the nominees for the remaining categories.
The 95th Academy Awards will be held on March 12, 2023 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
