Watch: Shin Ye Eun Develops Strong Bonds With Flower Scholars Boarding At Her Inn In Historical Romance Drama Teaser

SBS’s upcoming drama starring Shin Ye Eun and Ryeoun has unveiled a special first teaser!

“The Secret Romantic Guesthouse” (previously known as “The Love Story of Flower Scholars”) is a mysterious romance drama that tells the story of four youths including Yoon Dan Oh, the owner of the guesthouse Yihwawon which is free from stereotypes, and three boarding students – known as the flower scholars – who hold secrets.

Shin Ye Eun stars as the confident Yoon Dan Oh, the innkeeper of Yihwawon who rents rooms to scholars from various places, while Ryeoun plays Kang San, a scholar preparing for martial arts who has a kind heart behind his cold and charismatic appearance. Kang Hoon and Jung Gun Joo will play the other two scholars Kim Si Yeol and Jung Yoo Ha.

Both Shin Ye Eun and Ryeoun recently attended the 2022 SBS Drama Awards where the special teaser for “The Secret Romantic Guesthouse” was first unveiled. The teaser captures Yoon Dan Oh’s boarder recruitment as well as the funny back-and-forth between the three flower scholars. The four characters get off to an intriguing start as one of the scholars asks, “How long are you staying at Yihwawon?” Another responds, “It sounds like you’re asking me to quickly leave.”

Later, Yoon Dan Oh thinks back to the past as she ponders, “I wonder if that kid is doing well.” She recalls her younger self meeting a new friend and asking them, “Who are you?” The young boy responds, “I’ll tell you when I see you next time.” However, there is no next time as a tragic and mysterious situation forces the child away.

As the scholars spend more time at Yihwawon, their relationships with Yoon Dan Oh begin growing stronger. One of them shares with Yoon Dan Oh, “A lot has changed after I came to Yihwawon.” Yoon Dan Oh asks, “What has changed so much?” They confess, “Me. My heart.”

In March 2023, please anticipate and give lots of interest to the story that Yihwawon’s owner and Joseon’s F3 will unfold.”

“The Secret Romantic Guesthouse” will premiere this March!
