Kim Sun Ah, Oh Yoon Ah, Shin Eun Jung, And Yoo Sun Confirmed For New Drama

Actresses Kim Sun Ah, Oh Yoon Ah, Shin Eun Jung, and Yoo Sun are coming together for a new drama!

Channel A’s upcoming drama “Queen of the Mask” (literal title) is a drama series about four women, three of them majorly successful and the fourth having been involved in a murder case 10 years ago due to the others’ lies. When they all come together once again, this fourth outsider reveals her face that had been hidden for so long behind a mask. They all come to face the whirlwind that is life when a man comes into the picture, leading to a story filled with envy and desire.

Kim Sun Ah, Oh Yoon Ah, Shin Eun Jung, and Yoo Sun will play the four leading females Do Jae Yi, Go Yoo Na, Joo Yoo Jung, and Yoon Hae Mi, respectively.

Kim Sun Ah will take on the role of Do Jae Yi, a super celebrity of a human rights lawyer whose mission in life is to defend the weak. She is an ambitious person who is responsible for carrying out the dirty work of the mayor of Tongju, all while being guaranteed the spot of successor to the mayor. Kim Sun Ah has impressed in previous works such as “The Empire,” “Secret Boutique,” and “Should We Kiss First?”

Oh Yoon Ah will play Go Yoo Na, a woman who has lived a turbulent life ever since getting tangled up in a murder case 10 years prior. She seems to be finding happiness once again after moving to the United States and starting a family, but she must return after 10 years to find her missing daughter by using her three friends who abandoned her all that time ago. Oh Yoon Ah has shown off her many talents in works such as “Once Again,” “A Pledge to God,” and “The Undateables.”

Shin Eun Jung will play Joo Yoo Jung, chairwoman of the Young Woon Arts Foundation. Right before she is able to marry the man who appeared before her in her lowest of times, she is confronted by a series of trials and difficulties. Shin Eun Jung is a seasoned actress, having starred in numerous projects such as “Navillera,” “Lawless Lawyer,” and “Dr. Park’s Clinic.”

Finally, Yoo Sun will take on the role of Yoo Hae Mi, the first-ever vice president of Mariana Hotel to have worked her way up the ranks from being a regular employee to get to where she is. She is also someone who always gets what she wants. “Eve,” “Hush,” and “The Goddess of Revenge” are just a few of Yoo Sun’s notable dramas.

With these four famous actresses making up its cast, “Queen of the Mask” is expected to be a series full of colorful characters and a rather unconventional storyline.
