Im Soo Hyang And Kim Jung Hyun Are Fated To Be Together Across Time In "Kokdu: Season Of Deity"
Upcoming drama “Kokdu: Season of Deity” dropped new heart-fluttering stills of Im Soo Hyang and Kim Jung Hyun!
“Kokdu: Season of Deity” is a new fantasy romance which tells the story of a grim reaper named Kokdu (Kim Jung Hyun) who comes down to this world to punish humans every 99 years. When Kokdu meets Han Gye Jeol (Im Soo Hyang), a doctor with mysterious abilities, he starts working as a visiting doctor.
The newly released stills capture various moments between Kokdu and Doctor Han Gye Jeol from heart-fluttering eye contact to a more serious scene with a heavy atmosphere as their relationship crosses from the past to present day.
In one still, Kokdu dashingly carries Han Gye Jeol in his arms, and although Han Gye Jeol looks flustered, grim reaper Kokdu remains as calm and steady as ever with a dry expression, making viewers intrigued by their contrasting reactions. Another photo shows Han Gye Jeol enthusiastically expressing her opinion while Kokdu appears to humor her by listening closely and leaning in, raising anticipation for their playful chemistry.
Furthermore, a scene from the long forgotten past of a man and woman with the faces of Kokdu and Han Gye Jeol is filled with heavy tension. The man appears to be unable to move away from his position, while the elegantly seated woman also remains unmoving, creating an inexplicably sad scene.
The stills draw further curiosity about the couple’s relationship and the reason why the two have reunited after so much time has passed.
“Kokdu: Season of Deity” premieres on January 27 at 9:50 p.m. KST and will be available on Viki!
