Park Ju Hyun, Kim Woo Seok, And Kim Young Dae's Reunion Ends With A Shocking Truth In "The Forbidden Marriage"

Park Ju Hyun will be faced with more danger in the upcoming episode of “The Forbidden Marriage”!

Based on the web novel of the same name, MBC’s “The Forbidden Marriage” is a romance drama starring Kim Young Dae as King Yi Heon, who falls deep into despair after the death of his wife and ends up prohibiting marriage in his kingdom. Seven years after the loss of his wife (played by IZ*ONE‘s Kim Min Ju), who was then the crown princess, he comes across a con artist named So Rang (Park Ju Hyun) who claims that she can be possessed by the late princess’ spirit.

In the last episode, Lee Shin Won (Kim Woo Seok) got hit with a poisoned needle and sustained a major injury to his shoulder blade. As if the accident led to a firm decision, Lee Shin Won chose to organize his things and leave the palace.

Following Lee Shin Won’s departure from the palace, the newly released stills capture his tense meeting with So Rang and Yi Heon at Aedaldang. So Rang and Lee Shin Won meet first and share a brief moment of stillness, but quickly put their complicated feelings aside to have a friendly chat. However, So Rang is unable to hide her shock at an unexpected comment from Lee Shin Won and finds herself in a difficult position.

Lee Shin Won’s continued confessions leave So Rang further in shock and feeling frustrated and lost. What was the secret Lee Shin Won was hiding and how will it affect their relationship moving forward?

While traveling in disguise, Yi Heon learns that So Rang is at Aedaldang and is on his way inside when he overhears the conversation between her and Lee Shin Won. When the three characters eventually cross paths, the waves of emotion between them grow out of control, leaving a cold and stiff tension in the air.

The production team shared, “While So Rang, Yi Heon, and Lee Shin Won meet again in Episode 8, the excitement is brief as they’re faced with the shocking truth. Exciting development is set to unfold as the hidden secret surrounding these three comes to light, so please stay tuned.”
