Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2023, January Week 3

A new song takes over the top spot this week!

NewJeans’s latest hit “OMG” debuts at the top of our chart this week. The title track of their single album of the same name, “OMG” is a hip hop and R&B song with UK Garage and Trap rhythms. The song showcases diverse styles such as pop vocals and melodic rapping. This is the second No. 1 song for NewJeans. Congratulations!

NCT DREAM’s “Candy,” which previously topped the chart for two weeks, dropped one spot to No. 2. Also dropping one spot to No. 3 is LE SSERAFIM’s “ANTIFRAGILE.”

There is one more new song in the top 10 this week. Moving up three spots to No. 9 is “Beautiful Christmas,” a collaboration between Red Velvet and aespa. One of the two title songs from “2022 Winter SMTOWN : SMCU PALACE,” “Beautiful Christmas” is a carol dance song that captures the excitement of awaiting Christmas while looking back on the past year.
