ATEEZ, BTS, NCT 127, TWICE, ITZY, ENHYPEN, And NewJeans Claim Top Spots On Billboard's World Albums Chart

Billboard has published its World Albums chart for the week ending on January 14!

ATEEZ’s new single album “SPIN OFF : FROM THE WITNESS” debuted at No. 1 on this week’s chart, in addition to becoming the group’s second consecutive album to enter the top 10 of the Billboard 200.

“SPIN OFF : FROM THE WITNESS” also swept the No. 2 spot on both the Top Album Sales chart and Top Current Album Sales chart this week, while ATEEZ’s title track “HALAZIA” debuted at No. 2 on the World Digital Song Sales chart. Additionally, ATEEZ re-entered Billboard’s Artist 100 at No. 6.

Meanwhile, BTS’s RM’s solo album “Indigo” stayed strong at No. 2 in its fifth week on the World Albums chart. The album also spent a fourth week on the Billboard 200, where RM became the first Korean male soloist in history (and only the second Korean soloist overall) to chart an album for four weeks.

BTS’s anthology album “Proof” ranked No. 3 in its 30th consecutive week on the World Albums chart, while their 2018 album “Love Yourself: Tear” came in at No. 15 in its 204th non-consecutive week.

NCT 127’s latest album “2 Baddies” claimed No. 7 in its 16th consecutive week on the chart, followed by TWICE’s Nayeon’s solo debut mini album “IM NAYEON” at No. 8 (in its 17th non-consecutive week). TWICE’s latest mini album “BETWEEN 1&2” also charted at No. 11 in its 19th consecutive week.

ITZY’s recent mini album “CHESHIRE” ranked No. 9 in its fifth consecutive week on the chart, while ENHYPEN’s “MANIFESTO : DAY 1” took No. 10 in its 23rd week.

Finally, NewJeans’ debut EP “New Jeans” re-entered the chart at No. 12, marking its 13th non-consecutive week on the World Albums chart.
