BoA Makes Generous Donation For Children Out Of Foster Care + Joins Honor Society

BoA has made a heartfelt donation for children newly out of foster care!

On January 17, BoA donated 100 million won (approximately $80,769) to the Community Chest of Korea for the Fruit of Love. With this, she became Honor Society Member No. 3100 and wHonor Society (women’s honor society) Member No. 700.

Upon BoA’s wish, her donations will be used to support children who have been aged out of the foster care system so that they can self-support themselves.

BoA has shown her deep interest in these children who have to become independent at an early age, and she previously donated the proceeds of padded mufflers she made herself through a donation project called “Little Bird” in 2020 as scholarships for children aged out of foster care.

BoA shared, “I hope that this will be of help to children, who have to take their first step into society all by themselves, moving forward to a desirable direction without losing their dreams.”
