Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2023, January Week 4
The top three songs remain the same as last week with NewJeans’s “OMG” as the No. 1 song for the second consecutive week. Congratulations to NewJeans!
Holding steady at No. 2 and 3, respectively, are NCT DREAM’s “Candy” and LE SSERAFIM’s “ANTIFRAGILE.”
There are two new songs in the top 10 this week.
Debuting at No. 6 is MONSTA X’s “Beautiful Liar.” The title song from the group’s 12th mini album “REASON,” it is a song with rhythmical and powerful punk rock elements. Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M participated in writing the lyrics, which express dangerously irresistible feelings and love one can’t let go of.
SF9’s “Puzzle” debuts at No. 10. “Puzzle” is the title track from SF9’s 12th mini album “THE PIECE OF9” and is a catchy pop song with a punk influence. Co-composed by Zuho and featuring lyrics by both Zuho and Hwiyoung, the song describes the emotions of facing the truth by slowly fitting together one’s puzzle pieces of doubt.
