January Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for all idol groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of various idol groups, using big data collected from December 23, 2022 to January 23, 2023.
NewJeans topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 9,400,011. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “OMG,” “Minji,” and “Ditto,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “record,” “surpass,” and “apologize.” NewJeans’ positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 86.05 percent positive reactions.
BTS took second place in the rankings with a brand reputation index of 8,106,573, while BLACKPINK came in third place with an index of 4,865,510.
IVE claimed fourth place with a brand reputation index of 3,878,364, and SEVENTEEN rounded out the top five for January with a total score of 3,266,092.
