Actress Kim Ji Young Releases Statement Regarding Recent Accusations
Kim Ji Young has responded to accusations by two individuals. .
On January 22, an individual claiming to be the actress’s ex-boyfriend said that she was experiencing abuse at home so his parents even borrowed money to get her a separate home and pay for her monthly rent. He continued, “One day, she disappeared and left home, and she told me not to contact her because she is now dating someone else. She confidently said that if it’s a money-related issue, she’ll pay it all, but she has not contacted me a single time since.” He added that his parents are losing sleep and working extra in order to pay back their debt and said that he would delete the post once she pays his family back.
In addition, rapper Touch the Sky from “High School Rapper 4” also left comments on Kim Ji Young’s Instagram saying, “Did you go to the beach using my money?” “Give me my money back,” and added, “Kim Ji Young borrowed 1.5 million won (approximately $1220) from me. She lied to borrow the money and delayed paying me back. I can’t get in touch with her, don’t know her address, and her phone number changed.”
In response to the claims, Kim Ji Young took to her Instagram to write a statement on January 23.
The statement reads as follows:
Hello, this is actress Kim Ji Young. First of all, I express my sincere apologies to everyone who felt disappointment and confusion over this situation. Regarding what was released in news articles yesterday and any related issues, I am seeking legal advice with my parents and am preparing to take action. I feel sorry and apologetic for relaying this negative news over the Lunar New Year holiday. I will share further updates in the future. Sorry.
