MBC’s “Kokdu: Season of Deity” is a new fantasy romance which tells the story of a grim reaper named Kokdu (Kim Jung Hyun) who comes down to this world to punish humans every 99 years. When Kokdu meets Han Gye Jeol (Im Soo Hyang), a doctor with mysterious abilities, he starts working as a visiting doctor.

Directors Baek Soo Chan and Kim Ji Hoon, along with writers Kang Yi Heon and Heo Joon Woo, have come together to create a memorable story while actors Kim Jung Hyun, Im Soo Hyang, Dasom, An Woo Yeon, Kim In Kwon, and Cha Chung Hwa breathed life into the drama’s many colorful characters.
Through an emotional directing performance, Baek Soo Chan and Kim Ji Hoon created a unique universe that flows seamlessly between past and present as well as the human world and the afterlife.
