NewJeans Rises To New Peak On Billboard's Hot 100 + Becomes Fastest K-Pop Group To Chart A Song For 3 Weeks

NewJeans is soaring to new heights on Billboard’s Hot 100!

Last week, NewJeans’ latest title track “OMG” debuted at No. 91 on the Hot 100 (Billboard’s weekly ranking of the most popular songs in the United States), making them the fastest K-pop group in history to score multiple entries on the chart.

On January 31 local time, Billboard announced that “OMG” had risen to No. 79 in its second week on the Hot 100, marking NewJeans’ highest ranking yet on the chart.

Additionally, NewJeans’ pre-release single “Ditto” successfully remained on the chart for a third consecutive week, holding relatively steady at No. 89.

NewJeans has now become only the third K-pop group in history to spend three weeks on the Hot 100 (following BTS and BLACKPINK)—and, at just six months into their career, the fastest ever to achieve the feat.

“OMG” also climbed back up to No. 5 in its fourth week on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart, with “Ditto” holding steady at No. 7 in its sixth week.

Meanwhile, over on Billboard’s global charts, “Ditto” stayed strong at No. 9 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 11 on the Global 200, while “OMG” swept the No. 12 spot on both charts this week.

Congratulations to NewJeans!
