On March 3 at 2 p.m. KST, the BTS member dropped his new solo single “on the street” with J. Cole.

“on the street” is a lo-fi hip hop genre song written for fans. J-Hope participated in the composition and lyrics for the song, which expresses a hopeful message.

Get ready for a new solo single from BTS’s J-Hope!

On February 27 at midnight KST, BIGHIT MUSIC officially announced that J-Hope would be releasing a solo single called “on the street” this coming week, ahead of his upcoming military enlistment.

According to BIGHIT MUSIC, J-Hope wrote “on the street” in order to “share his candid feelings toward his fans,” and the title is a reference to “J-Hope’s roots—street dance—from which his dream to become an artist began.”

“on the street” will drop on March 3 at 2 p.m. KST.

Meanwhile, BIGHIT MUSIC previously announced on February 26 that J-Hope had begun the process of enlisting in the military by applying for the termination of his enlistment postponement.
