Watch: Popular Boy Group Vocalist Shows Off His Versatility With Covers Of "Rush Hour" And "SOLO" On "The King Of Mask Singer"
On the latest episode of “The King of Mask Singer,” the identity of “Decorating Photocards” was revealed to be the vocalist of a popular boy group!
During the February 26 broadcast of the MBC singing competition, four contestants advanced to the next round in their quest to challenge the reigning champion.
In the first match-up of Round 2, Decorating Photocards performed a groovy cover of Crush‘s hit song “Rush Hour” (featuring BTS‘s J-Hope). The skillful performance showcased a different side of the masked singer compared to Round 1, when he sang a duet version of BLACKPINK‘s Jennie‘s “SOLO.”

Although Decorating Photocards won the majority of the celebrity panelists’ votes, he ultimately lost the round to his opponent by a difference of just three votes.
To the panel’s disappointment, Decorating Photocards remained behind on stage to take off his mask and unveil his identity—and he turned out to be none other than THE BOYZ’s Kevin.
Kevin explained that just four days into his college orientation in Canada, he had decided to fly to Korea in order to compete on the sixth season of SBS’s audition show “K-Pop Star.” Just 11 months after being eliminated on the program, Kevin made his debut as a member of THE BOYZ.
When asked about his goals for the future, Kevin replied, “I want to showcase my unique musical color as THE BOYZ’s Kevin, and I hope many people will see me and think, ‘This kid really loves music.'”
