Woo Do Hwan Volunteers To Help People With Legal Issues In Upcoming Historical Drama

MBC’s upcoming Saturday-Sunday drama “Joseon Attorney” (literal title) has dropped a new poster!

“Joseon Attorney” tells the story of an oejibu (attorney in Joseon Dynasty) who takes revenge on an enemy that caused the death of his parents through a trial. Although the drama starts with revenge, it will depict the growth of the protagonist who gradually becomes a real attorney that cares for the people and exemplifies how revenge stems from loneliness.

Woo Do Hwan will take on the role of Kang Han Soo, an attorney with great charm and intelligence. Kang Han Soo, who is knowledgeable in various fields including civil law, commercial law, and criminal law, files all sorts of lawsuits to avenge the unjust murders of his parents through law.

In the newly released poster, Kang Han Soo stunningly models a gat (Korean traditional hat worn by men along with hanbok—Korean traditional clothing—in Joseon Dynasty) and a dopo (overcoat in hanbok), capturing the attention of viewers. The text that reads, “Anything unfair or frustrating, just tell me!” describes Kang Han Soo’s personality well.

In addition, Han Soo’s confident expressions and eloquent speeches move people’s hearts. He takes on various lawsuits for the sake of the people, but there is also another reason that lies beneath, adding to the curiosity.

MBC’s “Joseon Attorney” will premiere on March 31 at 9:50 p.m. KST following the conclusion of “Kokdu: Season of Deity.”
