Watch: HYBE Launches “SM With HYBE” Campaign For SM Shareholder Engagement

HYBE has announced a new campaign for the engagement of SM Entertainment shareholders.

On March 2, HYBE announced the “SM with HYBE” campaign in order to share its latest business strategy and plans to prioritize shareholders of SM Entertainment (hereafter SM).

According to HYBE, the campaign “is to protect shareholder value from inappropriate actions by the current management at SM. It aims to put an end to an unequal partnership contract with Kakao, unrealistic and unsubstantiated financial projections, and emotional messages that gloss over public opinion, all of which the current SM management initiated.”

With the launch of the campaign, HYBE released videos laying out the plans to protect shareholder value, presented by HYBE’s chief legal officer Jung Jin Soo and HYBE America’s president Jason Lee, both candidates suggested through HYBE’s shareholder proposal for SM’s internal Board of Directors.

In the video presented by Jason Lee, he shares a blueprint of SM’s growth strategy and distribution policy when in partnership with HYBE.
