As one hit drama winds to a close, another has joined the weekend ratings battle!

On March 4, tvN’s “Crash Course in Romance” soared to its highest viewership ratings to date ahead of its highly-anticipated series finale. According to Nielsen Korea, the penultimate episode of the hit rom-com scored an average nationwide rating of 15.5 percent, marking a new all-time high for the show.

Meanwhile, JTBC’s new drama “Divorce Attorney Shin” got off to a promising start. The new series starring Cho Seung Woo and Han Hye Jin premiered to higher ratings than its predecessor “Agency” (the drama that previously occupied its time slot), scoring a nationwide average of 7.3 percent for its first episode. (For comparison, “Agency” premiered to an average nationwide rating of 4.8 percent earlier this year.)

Over in the public broadcast network realm, MBC’s “Kokdu: Season of Deity” rose to an average nationwide rating of 2.0 percent for its latest episode. (SBS’s “Taxi Driver 2,” which normally airs in the same time slot, did not air a new episode last night.)

Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Three Bold Siblings” continued its reign as the most-watched program of Saturday with a nationwide average of 24.9 percent.
