Watch: Ryeoun, Kang Hoon, And Jung Gun Joo Hide Dangerous Secrets From Shin Ye Eun In "The Secret Romantic Guesthouse" Teaser
“The Secret Romantic Guesthouse” has released a whirlwind third teaser!
Based on the hit web novel of the same name, SBS’s “The Secret Romantic Guesthouse” is a mystery romance about an unconventional boarding house and three students who stay there as lodgers. Shin Ye Eun will star as Yoon Dan Oh, the owner of boarding house Yihwawon, while Ryeoun, Kang Hoon, and Jung Gun Joo will play three “flower scholars” who rent rooms—and are each hiding their own secrets.
The new teaser previews the secrets that the three flower scholars are hiding, with one potentially lying about their identity. In the middle of the night, Jang Tae Hwa (Oh Man Seok) orders a search to his soldiers, stating, “Yihwawon is the last house.” Yihwawon’s owner Yoon Dan Oh looks frightened as Jang Tae Hwa adds, “The deposed crown prince Lee Seol could be there.” While he speaks, images of the three flower scholars Kim Si Yeol (Kang Hoon), Kang San (Ryeoun), and Jung Yoo Ha (Jung Gun Joo) flash by, hinting that Lee Seol is among them.
As Kim Si Yeol is shown fleeing and Kang San carefully listens in on a mysterious late-night meeting, the voiceover asks, “What do you plan to do?” Later, Noh Sung Gil (Lee Joon Hyuk) asks, “Does Yoon Dan Oh not know at all? Who you are?”
Viewers are left even more curious about the mysterious Lee Seol as Hwa Ryung (Han Chae Ah) asks, “How are the scholars you’ve been spending time with?” As if responding to her question, Kim Si Yeol meets with a suspicious monk while Kang San receives a secret note from an anonymous person and Jung Yoo Ha visits a mysterious place.
Kim Si Yeol and Hwa Ryung are chatting over drinks when his expression becomes more serious than usual. He inquires, “You also seem to have a lot of interest in Yihwawon?”
Jung Yoo Hwa joins other scholars in writing a book, of which he confidently states, “It will become a big strength in changing the world.” Although a skilled fighter, Kang San explains to Jung Yoo Ha, “I’m currently searching for a way to win without getting wounded.” Jung Yoo Ha responds, “Does that world exist?” Kang San firmly states, “No. That’s why I want to live [in that world].”
