Watch: Students Fight Extraterrestrial Forces In Action-Packed "Duty After School" Teaser
An intense teaser has been released for “Duty After School”!
Based on a hit webtoon, upcoming sci-fi drama “Duty After School” tells the story of high school students who are called upon to join the world’s first war against extraterrestrial forces. When mysterious alien spheres start invading the world, the Department of Defense offers college admission incentives to get the students to sign up for the reserved forces, and they soon become frontline fighters.
The main teaser begins by showing the Sungjin High School seniors living their ordinary lives before disaster hits. Jang Young Hoon (Noh Jong Hyun) is asked to share what he wants to say to his family and friends, and teacher Park Eun Young (Im Se Mi) informs her students, “It seems that rolling admission [for college] will be cancelled this year,” hinting at a major change in their lives.
Students are then shown with consent forms to participate in military training, and the incentive of extra points for their college admission exam is what eventually pushes most of them to begin the challenge. Before they know it, military training turns into real war due to the attack of extraterrestrial forces.
Lee Chun Ho (Shin Hyun Soo) leads the platoon as a member of the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps, ordering the students, “You must stay alive until the end,” and a student questions with a shaky voice, “Can we stay alive?”
