Ahn Hyo Seop Returns As A Genius Surgeon Following In Han Suk Kyu's Footsteps In "Dr. Romantic 3"

SBS’s “Dr. Romantic 3” has shared its first look at Ahn Hyo Seop in the new season!

“Dr. Romantic,” which is gearing up to return for a third season in April, is a drama that follows the stories of realistic doctors working at a rundown hospital in the countryside. Han Suk Kyu, Ahn Hyo Seop, Lee Sung Kyung, Kim Min Jae, So Ju Yeon, Jin Kyung, Im Won Hee, Byun Woo Min, and Jung Ji Ahn have all been confirmed to be reprising their roles in the upcoming third season. 

In Season 2, Ahn Hyo Seop portrayed the genius surgeon Seo Woo Jin, who was a cynical doctor who didn’t believe in happiness after living an underprivileged life.

The newly released stills portray how Seo Woo Jin has transformed into a reliable surgeon of Doldam Hospital three years since the ending of Season 2. Seo Woo Jin looks more mature and skilled as he performs surgery, and his gaze is reminiscent of Dr. Kim (Han Suk Kyu) and his resolve to save people no matter what.

Another still depicts Seo Woo Jin gazing warmly upon someone, raising anticipation for Seo Woo Jin’s new role as a senior doctor and reliable general surgeon who will follow in Dr. Kim’s footsteps. Not to mention, heart-fluttering romance will await viewers through Seo Woo Jin’s relationship with Cha Eun Jae (Lee Sung Kyung), which was established in the previous season.

“Dr. Romantic 3” will premiere on April 28 at 10:00 p.m. KST as the follow-up to “Taxi Driver 2.”
