YG Entertainment Comments On BLACKPINK's Possible Collab With Lady Gaga At Upcoming U.S.-Korean Presidential Event

BLACKPINK is in talks to perform with Lady Gaga for an upcoming presidential event!

On March 28, a representative from YG Entertainment stated, “BLACKPINK has been offered to perform with Lady Gaga in commemoration of President Yoon Suk Yeol’s state visit to the United States. We are currently considering [the offer].”

Currently, South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol is scheduled for a state visit to the United States in April. Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is set to perform at the Foro Sol Stadium in Mexico City on April 26  for their “BORN PINK” world tour, the same day the state dinner between President Yoon Suk Yeol and U.S. President Joe Biden will be held.

Previously in 2020, BLACKPINK collaborated with Lady Gaga on the track “Sour Candy,” which was included in Lady Gaga’s sixth album “Chromatica.” The song debuted on the U.K. Official Singles Chart at No. 17, took the No. 33 position on Billboard’s Hot 100, No. 25 on the U.S. Billboard Digital Song Sales Chart, and No. 2 on the Spotify Global Top 50 chart.
