Kim Jonghyeon, Lee Hyun Joo, And Cha Sun Woo Confirmed To Star In New Rom-Com Web Drama
Kim Jonghyeon (JR), Lee Hyun Joo, and Cha Sun Woo will be starring in a new web drama together!
On March 28, Kim Jonghyeon’s agency Evermore Entertainment shared, “Kim Jonghyeon confirmed his appearance in KBSN’s new web drama ‘Started with a Kiss’ (literal title).” Following the casting news, the agencies of Lee Hyun Joo and Cha Sun Woo Studio 1592 and HODU&U Entertainment also confirmed the casting of Lee Hyun Joo and Cha Sun Woo, respectively, on March 29.
“Started with a Kiss” is a rom-com drama that tells the fiery love story of three youths who are clumsy and foolish but hungry for love. Set in a high school in Mokpo in 2009, the drama will deliver nostalgic memories and stories which viewers can relate to by reproducing the music, dramas, films, and fashion of the time.
Kim Jonghyeon will take on the role of Kim Bom, a good-looking former MVP of a basketball team who appears tough on the outside but is actually soft at heart. Lee Hyun Joo will star as Baek Il Rak, a new member of Gaechun High School’s broadcasting club who dreams of a special romance. Cha Sun Woo will play Baek Il Rak’s longtime friend Hwang Gu who is loyal to Il Rak only. Expectations are high for the great chemistry and youthful story that Kim Jonghyeon, Lee Hyun Joo, and Cha Sun Woo will showcase through the new drama.
