Kim Min Jae Returns As Handsome Nurse Who Has Deep Affection For Doldam Hospital In "Dr. Romantic 3"

Kim Min Jae has raved on his loyalty and affection for the “Dr. Romantic” series!

“Dr. Romantic,” which is gearing up to return for a third season in April, is a drama that follows the stories of realistic doctors working at a rundown hospital in the countryside. Han Suk Kyu, Ahn Hyo Seop, Lee Sung Kyung, Kim Min Jae, So Ju Yeon, Jin Kyung, Im Won Hee, Byun Woo Min, and Jung Ji Ahn have all been confirmed to be reprising their roles in the upcoming third season.

Earlier in November 2022, it was confirmed that Kim Min Jae and So Ju Yeon will be reprising their roles as Park Eun Tak and Yoon Ah Reum in Season 3. Kim Min Jae’s character Park Eun Tak is a nurse with a strong sense of responsibility and a firm belief in justice whose chemistry with Yoon Ah Reum (So Ju Yeon) stole viewers’ hearts in Season 2.

Kim Min Jae shared, “I wanted to add power to the meaning that people who share the same goal at Doldam Hospital are still there. ‘Dr. Romantic’ is a project that feels like home to me. I feel like I’m reuniting with my family after gaining various experiences outside. I’m so honored and happy to be able to work with them again.”

The actor went on to raise viewers’ anticipation for Season 3 by sharing, “Please look forward to the Eun Tak’s past story as to why he came down to Doldam Hospital as well as the romance with doctor Yoon Ah Reum. We will show deeper emotions that viewers couldn’t see in Season 2.”

The production team remarked, “Kim Min Jae is an actor who has a strong sense of responsibility and great affection for ‘Dr. Romantic’ just like his character Park Eun Tak. It must not have been an easy decision, but we are grateful to Kim Min Jae for returning as Park Eun Tak and adding strength [to the drama], and we feel reassured for him being with us.”

“Dr. Romantic 3” is set to premiere on April 28 at 10:00 p.m. KST as the follow-up to “Taxi Driver 2.”
