TXT Becomes 2nd K-Pop Artist In History To Chart 3 Different Albums For 9 Weeks On Billboard 200

Over two months after its release, TXT’s “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” is still holding steady on the Billboard 200!

On April 4 local time, Billboard revealed that TXT’s latest mini album “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” was spending its ninth consecutive week on the Top 200 Albums chart (which ranks the most popular albums in the United States) at No. 72.

After debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 back in February, the mini album has not once dropped out of the top 80 on the chart—and it currently holds the title of the best-selling album in the United States in 2023 across all genres (in terms of pure sales).

Notably, TXT is only the second K-pop artist in history (following BTS) to chart an album in the top 80 of the Billboard 200 for nine consecutive weeks. They are also only the second K-pop artist to chart three different albums for nine weeks each on the Billboard 200.

Outside of the Billboard 200, “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION” stayed strong at No. 3 in its ninth week on the World Albums chart, in addition to sweeping the No. 10 spot on both the Top Album Sales chart and the Top Current Album Sales chart.

Finally, TXT charted at No. 50 on Billboard’s Artist 100, marking their 43rd overall week on the chart.

Congratulations to TXT!
