GOT7’s Jinyoung has penned a handwritten letter following the announcement of his military enlistment!
He wrote the following:
Hello everyone. This is Park Jinyoung.
The weather has gotten warmer. Is everyone doing well?
You all must have been very surprised after coming across my enlistment news through reports. Like it has been revealed, I will be enlisting in the military on May 8 in order to fulfill my military duties.
Everyone must be very worried, but I gotten rather confident and reassured while meeting all of you. That is why I promise to return more mature and in good health after experiencing a lot while thinking of everyone.
Well then, let’s meet again soon.
Thank you always, and I love you.

GOT7’s Jinyoung will be enlisting in the military!
On April 5, JTBC News reported that Jinyoung will be enlisting in May as an active-duty soldier. In response to the report, a source from BH Entertainment shared, “Our agency’s artist Park Jinyoung will receive basic military training at the training center [starting] on Monday, May 8 and fulfill his military duty as an active-duty soldier.”
Jinyoung first made his debut in 2012 through KBS2’s “Dream High 2” and the boy group JJ Project. He later debuted once more in 2014 as a member of GOT7. Since then, he has released numerous hits with GOT7 and starred in various projects including “The Legend of the Blue Sea,” “He Is Psychometric,” “When My Love Blooms,” “The Devil Judge,” and the “Yumi’s Cells” series.
