Watch: "Peak Time" Reveals Winners Of New Song Battle After Exciting Final Batch Of Performances

JTBC’s “Peak Time” has wrapped up its new song battle!

“Peak Time” is an idol survival show in which teams compete for the chance to become the next “worldwide idol group.” Unlike other audition programs, its contestants consist entirely of male idols who have already debuted, whether currently active or part of a disbanded group, and they compete “anonymously” under temporary group names that correspond to different hours of the day.

Last week, the 10 teams that advanced to the next round of the program split up into two leagues of five teams each. The contestants then began the new song battle, with the teams in each league going head-to-head with performances of brand-new songs of their very own.

After the five teams in League B kicked off the battle on last week’s episode, the five teams in League A took the stage to face off against one another this week. League A consisted of Teams 2:00 (NTX), 7:00 (MASC), 11:00 (VANNER), 20:00 (M.O.N.T), and 24:00 (solo contestants).

Each team’s score for the battle was determined by the votes of the celebrity judges and the members of the live studio audience—but while the judges were able to vote for as many teams as they liked, audience members could only cast votes for one team per league.

Each judge’s vote counted for 100 points, while each audience member’s vote counted for 10 points.

The results for League A were as follows:

Team 11:00 (VANNER) – 1510 points (8 judges’ votes + 71 audience votes)
Team 7:00 (MASC) – 1140 points (8 judges’ votes + 34 audience votes)
Team 2:00 (NTX) – 1080 points (7 judges’ votes + 38 audience votes)
Team 24:00 (solo contestants) – 970 points (4 judges’ votes + 57 audience votes)
Team 20:00 (M.O.N.T) – 800 points (6 judges’ votes + 20 audience votes)

Meanwhile, the results for League B were as follows:

Team 8:00 (DKB) – 1480 points (8 judges’ votes + 68 audience votes)
Team 13:00 (BAE173) – 1290 points (7 judges’ votes + 59 audience votes)
Team 23:00 (DGNA) – 1240 points (8 judges’ votes + 44 audience votes)
Team 14:00 (GHOST9) – 760 points (4 judges’ votes + 36 audience votes)
Team 15:00 (BLK) – 530 points (4 judges’ votes + 13 audience votes)

Heading into next week’s eliminations, the winners of each league—Team 11:00 (VANNER) and Team 8:00 (DKB)—will be given the major benefit of having 3 percent of all votes (from the ongoing global vote) added to their final score ahead of the eliminations.

The second round of global voting will end on April 6 at 9 a.m. KST.
