Watch: "Queendom Puzzle" Previews A Global Project Girl Group In New Teaser For "Queendom" Spin-Off Series

Mnet is returning with “Queendom Puzzle,” the spin-off series to the hit survival program “Queendom”!

“Queendom Puzzle” is a spin-off variety show that will form a powerful global project girl group by taking members from currently promoting girl groups as well as female artists and putting them together like a puzzle.

The upcoming program will take on a completely new format from the pre-existing “Queendom” series, with individual competitions taking place rather than team ones. The contestants will compete with performances to become final members of a project girl group.

One of the biggest standout elements of the new season is that viewers will be able to see girl group performances with different members each round. Members from pre-existing girl groups will be put together like a puzzle to form new “groups” and compete each round to showcase new and unique charms while telling their stories. There will be never-before-seen performances that can only be viewed through “Queendom Puzzle.”

In the newly released teaser, iconic girl group songs play in the background as the silhouettes of seven female celebrities are shown. Along with the confirmation that the first lineup will be revealed in May, the teaser includes the mysterious code on the bottom, “IURP WZHQWB HLJKW WR VHYHQ.”

The production team shared, “[The show] will be a time to rediscover the individualities and charms of each pre-existing girl group member. Viewers will be able to find entertainment in the novel combinations [of different girl group members].” They added, “We will reveal the participating artist lineup, which will shock everyone, in May.”

The first season of “Queendom” premiered in 2019 and featured legendary female artists including AOA, MAMAMOO, Oh My Girl, (G)-IDLE, Park Bom, and Lovelyz. Season 2 introduced Hyolyn, Brave Girls, WJSN, LOONA, Kep1er, and VIVIZ. MAMAMOO and WJSN took home the crown during their respective seasons.
