Son Suk Ku In Talks For Hong Sisters' New Romance Drama

Son Suk Ku may be starring in a brand-new drama by the Hong Sisters!

On April 13, SBD Entertainment officially announced, “Son Suk Ku has received a casting offer for the drama ‘Can This Love Be Translated?’ [literal translation], and he is currently in talks with a favorable outlook.”

“Can This Love Be Translated?” is a romance drama about a woman who works as an interpreter and a man who speaks an entirely different love language from her own. Due to their polar-opposite approaches to talking about love, the two of them repeatedly misunderstand one another and get frustrated as their intentions get lost in translation.

The upcoming drama will be penned by the famous screenwriting duo known as the Hong Sisters (Hong Jung Eun and Hong Mi Ran), whose previous works include the hit dramas “Alchemy of Souls,” “Hotel Del Luna,” “You’re Beautiful,” “My Girlfriend is a Gumiho,” “The Greatest Love,” “Master’s Sun,” and more.

Son Suk Ku has been offered the leading role of A-list actor Joo Ho Jin, who falls in love with his interpreter Cha Shin Hye during his promotions abroad.
