Oh Jung Se Joins Lee Yoo Mi And Woo Do Hwan In Talks For "It's Okay To Not Be Okay" Writer's New Drama
Oh Jung Se may star in a new rom-com drama!
On April 17, JTBC reported that actor Oh Jung Se will star in the upcoming drama “Mr. Plankton” (literal title) as a lead role.
In response to the report, Oh Jung Se’s agency PrainTPC shared, “Oh Jung Se received an offer to star in ‘Mr. Plankton’ and is currently reviewing it.”
“Mr. Plankton” is a rom-com drama which depicts the journey of a man who chooses to live a nomadic life as there is no one who loves him or holds him back. The drama will be penned by Cho Yong of “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” and “Jugglers” and will be helmed by director Hong Jong Chan of “Link: Eat, Love, Kill,” “Juvenile Justice,” and “Life.”
Oh Jung Se is in talks to play Eo Heung, who is a doctor of Korean Medicine and the 18th descendant of the Chunghaegong faction’s Eo family of Poongyeong who has a stuffy personality.
Previously on April 14, it was reported that actors Woo Do Hwan and Lee Yoo Mi are also in talks for the drama.
“Mr. Plankton” will consist of 10 episodes and is in discussion to broadcast through OTT platforms. Stay tuned for more updates!
