On the latest episode of “The King of Mask Singer,” the identity of “Palette” was revealed!

During the April 23 broadcast of the MBC singing competition, four contestants continued their quest to challenge the reigning champion for the throne.

In the first match-up of Round 2, Palette showed off her stunning vocal tone with a beautiful cover of Kwon Jin Ah’s “Something’s Wrong.”

After her performance, the celebrity panel lavished praise on Palette for her gorgeous vocals, with Yoo Young Seok commenting, “I think she had the most beautiful voice out of all the contestants today.”

However, Palette ultimately lost the round to her opponent—and when she took off her mask to reveal her identity to the crowd, she turned out to be Umji of GFRIEND and VIVIZ.

When asked about her goals for the future, Umji shared, “I want to keep improving [as a singer] in the future, and I want to become someone that people will continue to be curious about.”

After the episode aired, VIVIZ’s official Twitter account posted several photos of Umji posing with her mask backstage, writing, “The identity of ‘Palette’ on ‘The King of Mask Singer,’ whose beautiful voice made all Na.V [VIVIZ’s fans] fall in love, was none other than Umji.”
