Watch: Xdinary Heroes Covers BTS, Stray Kids, And PSY On "Weekly Idol"

Xdinary Heroes performed a live-band cover of BTS on the latest episode of “Weekly Idol”!

The JYP Entertainment band appeared as guests on the April 26 episode of the MBC every 1 variety show, where they premiered their new title track “Freakin’ Bad” and played fun games together with the show’s new MCs.

For the program’s signature “Weekly Playlist” segment, Xdinary Heroes prepared a cover of BTS’s hit song “Dynamite.”

“Our music is usually pretty hard-hitting and heavy, with a strong rock sound,” explained Gun-il. “But the weather is going to get hot soon, so we wanted to beat the heat with a refreshing and groovy song. That’s why we chose to add our color to BTS’s ‘Dynamite.'”

Later on in the show, the Xdinary Heroes members split up into teams and played a game that involved a physically demanding version of karaoke. Each team had to sing a song while using microphones attached to workout equipment—or, in the case of one member per team, while doing the splits on the floor.

The team consisting of O.de, Jungsu, and Gun-il took on the challenge to the tune of Stray Kids’ “Thunderous,” while the other team—Jooyeon, Gaon, and Jun Han—chose to sing PSY’s “Champion.”
