LE SSERAFIM Breaks Record For Highest 1st-Day Sales By Female K-Pop Artist As "UNFORGIVEN" Sells Over 1 Million Copies

LE SSERAFIM has already made K-pop history with their new album!

On May 2, LE SSERAFIM released the physical version of their first full-length album “UNFORGIVEN,” which was released digitally the day before.

According to Hanteo Chart, “UNFORGIVEN” sold an amazing total of 1,024,034 copies on May 2 alone, setting a new record for the highest first-day sales by any female artist in Hanteo history.

Only one other album by a female artist has ever sold 1 million copies on the first day of its release: BLACKPINK’s 2022 album “BORN PINK,” which held the previous record with 1,011,266 first-day sales.

Even including male artists, LE SSERAFIM is now the group with the fifth-highest first-day sales overall, bested only by SEVENTEEN, BTS, TXT, and Stray Kids.
