Jang Hyuk Angrily Faces Off With Kim Nam Hee After He Comes Looking For Jang Nara In "Family"

“Family” is a spy drama starring Jang Hyuk as Kwon Do Hoon, a secret agent for the National Intelligence Service (NIS) who is undercover as an ordinary office worker. Jang Nara stars as Kwon Do Hoon’s wife Kang Yu Ra, who dreams of having a perfect family—but is hiding a big secret.

The previous episode of “Family” ended on a major cliffhanger, with Yu Ra’s world on the verge of being turned upside down. Yu Ra had been living a quiet life as an ordinary housewife when her past came back to haunt her in the form of Jo Tae Goo (Kim Nam Hee), who underwent training to become a killer alongside her in their younger days. When Tae Goo suddenly turned up at her house, it appeared that the identity she had so carefully hidden up until now was about to come crashing back down on her.

In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, a furious Do Hoon inserts himself into the tense reunion between Tae Goo and his wife. Do Hoon angrily grabs Tae Goo by the collar and throws him against the wall, while the other man glares defiantly back at him with a chilling look in his eye.

Meanwhile, Yu Ra nervously hides behind the wall as she watches the conflict, unable to meet the gaze of either Tae Goo or her husband.

As neither Yu Ra nor Do Hoon are aware of the other’s identity, it remains to be seen how this rapidly escalating encounter with Tae Goo will play out—and whether Do Hoon will catch on to Yu Ra’s true identity as a killer.

The producers of “Family” teased, “As Tae Goo becomes properly entangled with Do Hoon, Yu Ra, and the Kwon family, the plot will become even more thrilling and unpredictable. The conflict between Yu Ra, who attempts to protect her family while hiding her identity as a killer, and Tae Goo, who tries to shake up her peaceful life, will deliver suspense and excitement.
